Nervous apparatus

The nervous apparatus is, so to speak, the "control unit" of the human body.
Its functions are: to produce information about the inside and outside environment; integrate sensory information; coordinate the various activities (voluntary and involuntary); regulate and control structures and peripheral apparatuses.
